Bolly Fusion Fitness Trainer 


Neeru has been associated with Kavi's School of Dance since 2011 and has been performing with the adult team members regularly since then. She has given several mega stage shows and has won many dance competitions.


She has also been training to be a Bolly Fusion fitness instructor since 2012. With disciplne, determination and hardwork she is now ready to take on the task of training the adult members and help them achieve their goals. She is now a trained Bolly Fusion fitness instructor at Kavi's and is liked by all the adult workout members for her high energy and her bubbly and positive nature. She believes that dancing is the solution for most of the problems and also a great stress buster.


Bharatanatyam and Bollywood Instructor


Samyukta is currently teaching beginners and intermediate levels dancers of Bharatanatyam and Bollywood at Kavi's.

The only word that can be used to describe this amazing young dancer/instructor's talent is incredible. From the age of nine, she has received immense training in Bharatanatyam, Contemporary, Jazz, and Fusion styles of dance. She has participated in multiple shows, competed and has won several competitions with individual dance numbers throughout her dancing career. She takes both learning and teaching dance extremely seriously, and she loves to pass on her knowledge of dance to her younger peers. She is marvelous while working with kids and has an incredible ability to break down the steps and articulate them to budding dance students. Samy is also a Saxophone and a Piano player, a debate champion, and has fantastic oratorical skills. She is extremely liked by all the young girls within the school and is a great asset for Kavi's School of Dance for years to come.

Bharatanatyam and Bollywood Instructor


Rashi is trained in Bharatanatyam and Bollywood for 6 yrs and has steadily been with Kavi's school of Dance since the tender age of 9. She has performed in several mega dance events and is one of the lead dancers of the senior dance team. She is extremely patient, gentle and compassionate when she is working with the kids. Rashi is a debates champion who competes regularly and is an awesome narrator. She is also an independent choreographer and is great with Garba.

Contemporary Instructor


Renee is a graduate of Montclair State University receiving a BFA in Dance, a BA in family and child studies with a concentration in Family services, and a minor in Psychology. Renee began her dance training at Laura's Dance studio at the age of 3 She studied Ballet , Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre and Hip hop.


Renée went on to further her concentration in Ballet and Pointé at the Mill Ballet School in Lambertville, NJ and New Jersey School of Ballet in Livingston, NJ. She danced with New Jersey Ballet Company for three years as a member of their Junior Company. Renée performed in productions of "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker", and in NJB's 2012 Gala performing in theatres throughout New Jersey such as Mayo PAC, Bergen PAC, Middle Township Performing Arts Center, and NJPAC.


At MSU Renée trained in Ballet and Modern/Contemporary. She also studied improvisation, choreography, dance history, Laban movement analysis, rhythmic analysis, anatomy & physiology, pedagogy, and repertory. As a member of Montclair State University Dance Repertory Company, Renée performed works by leading choreographers including Frederick Earl Mosley and Martha Graham. She also performed at the Martha Graham Studio Theatre in NYC. Her teaching experience includes teaching Ballet and Modern at Laura's Dance Studio. Renée's most recent teaching position was at Oasis, A Haven for Women and Children in Paterson, NJ. As Oasis' Dance Coordinator she developed and established a curriculum for the inception of the Oasis Dance Program, teaching children ages 8-13 hip hop/jazz. As the new director/owner of Laura's Dance Studio, Renée is committed to offering students her knowledge and passion for dance.

Acro Specialist


Natalie Blanco was born in Costa Rica and came to the United States when she was five years old. Natalie began her dance training at Laura's Dance Studio at the age of eleven focusing on ballet, pointé, jazz and hip hop. After high school, Natalie went on to study at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she received a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience and Child Psychology. Natalie is currently a Pre-kindergarten Teacher at Primrose of Berkeley Heights. Natalie started practicing yoga at age four and is now in the Yoga Alliance RYT- 400 hours certified for adults with LifePower Yoga. She also received her 120 hours of teacher training in children's yoga from Little Buddhas. It is Natalie's dream to bring mindfulness and movement to children through yoga play. Natalie has also performed Bollywood style dancing with Kavi's in 2012 and has won the group dance competition where she appears as the lead dancer.

Bollywood Instructor


Deekshita is currently teaching Bollywood to beginners in Kavi's School of Dance. She has been learning Bollywood ever since she was 9 years old and hasn't stopped since. She has learned Bhartanatyam, Bollywood, Contemporary and Acro in her 3 years with Kavi's School of Dance. She is very passionate about dance because this was her hobby ever since she was young. Aside from dancing, she plays flute and is also in Track at high school. She also tutors children after school and is superbly patient with little ones. She is a high achiever at school too. She has been the valedictorian and is a part of the honors club, Waksman.

Bharatanatyam and Bollywood Instructor


Prachi has been learning bharatnatyam for 2 years and bollywood for 8 years. She teaches beginner bollywood dance and loves working with children. Prachi has been with Kavi's school of dance since the opening of the studio and has performed and competed in many events throughout her time with Kavi. She is very patient and calm which are the perfect qualities to have when teaching children. Aside from learning and teaching bollywood dance, Prachi plays volleyball and ultimate frisbee for her high school. She also volunteers at a hospital due to her strong desire to continue her education in medicine and loves biology.
